Things to Do in Piemonte

Q. Can I book wine tours and tastings in the region with the hotel?

A. Of course! Our team will be happy to assist in booking tours of vineyards and wineries that you care to visit. If you need guidance or where to visit, we can make recommendations also, to ensure you make the most of your visit to Piemonte.

Q. What can I do when I visit Piemonte?

A. There is so much to see!  A visit to Piemonte wouldn’t be the same without a visit to a vineyard or two and we are also home to the Slow Food Movement with hundreds of restaurant options across Monferrato and the wider UNESCO region of Piemonte.  Take a tour of the medieval hilltop villages by car, or explore closer to the hotel with a rented e-bike - which we can arrange for you – as the perfect way to enjoy the scenery and the fresh air.  Festas and fairs are a regular occurrence in peak season in Piemonte so do check out our “What’s On” guide to see what might be happening during your stay. The Piemonte tourism website is also an excellent resource for a guide on seasonal events.  There are also countless historic properties to visit, our regional capital Torino offers an Italian slice of cosmopolitan life, reached in around an hour from the hotel.  For coast lovers, the Ligurian coastline and seaside towns of Noli and Sportono to name just two are within an easy drive and daytrip too.  Piemonte also has two very good outlet malls housing all the major Italian high-end brands if you need a shopping fix. You can join us for a cooking class at Almaranto too, or simply just relax by the pool and take in the sunset from our terrace. We promise you, you will not be short of things to do and places to see!

Q. What regular events take place in Piemonte?

A. There are so many annual events across Piemonte! We have compiled a short list of regular events in the Monferrato region on our website which you can find here. For the best advice we suggest to check out Visit Piemonte at https://www.visitpiemonte.com/it. If you’re unsure of what is available, do contact us and we’d be happy to try and guide you too.
